Amputation of the left upper limb due to self-harm injury

Abstract

45 years old white male patient with a history of incarceration and psychiatric disorder for the past 15 years, who presents to consultation after injecting feces and urine into both upper limbs, reporting that he felt very agitated. Both images show an above-elbow (transhumeral) amputation of the left upper limb as a result of self-inflicted injury.
